Professional/Consultancy Services
The College of Oral Health Sciences is collaborating
with the University of Dalhousie, Ministry of Health, and
the Pan American Health Organization in conducting a
Migration Studies for Dental Auxiliaries in Jamaica.
Outreach Activities
Ninety-six (96) Health Fairs and Outreaches were
conducted during the period under review. Some
15,000 individuals in communities across Jamaica have
received an exceptionally high standard of Oral Health
Care.

Conference
The 3rd International Conference of the Rosalie
Warpeha - Caribbean Institute for Strategic Planning
and Research in Oral Health was hosted by the College
in October 2014. The theme of the conference, held
at the Jamaica Conference Centre, was “Evidence-
Based Approaches to New and Re-emerging Diseases,
Endemic Diseases and Enhanced Surveillance
Methodology.”
Organizational Well-Being
The College supported the specialised training of the
Dental Assistant Students, Dental Assistants and
Ancillary staff in Climate change and Infection Control,
for a two-day training workshop which was hosted by
the Caribbean Academy of Eastern European Trained
Professionals (CAEETP).
