and outdoor greenhouse laboratories for
growing, and Steep Hill Labs Inc, USA
regarding research and testing.
Academic staff continued to engage
in activities that bring international
perspectives and diversity to the learning
environment at UTech, Jamaica. One staff
member from the School of Computing
and Information Technology was a visiting
faculty at University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill, USA further to an MOU that
was established earlier in the year.
Groundwork began for the establishment
of linkages with Japanese institutions
regarding teaching and research in the
area of rural development, especially the
livelihood of women small farmers.
