UTech, Jamaica Extends Condolences on the Passing of Council Member Dr Rickert Allen

“The University of Technology, Jamaica notes with profound regret and sadness, the passing of Council Member, Dr. Rickert Allen on April 11, 2020.  An alumnus of UTech, Jamaica (formerly CAST), Dr. Allen served as Chairman of the University’s Governance Committee and as a member of various other Committees of the UTech, Jamaica Council including the Human Resource Committee, the Remuneration Committee and the University Appointments and Promotions Committee. 

Dr. Allen will be greatly missed. His passing is a major loss to the UTech, Jamaica family and to our country as a whole. We extend sincere condolences to his family and pray that God will grant them the strength and comfort that they need during this challenging time of loss.”
