New change to the BSc. in Computing curriculum as of A/Y 2015/16
Year 4 Students will now do Entrepreneurship (ENT3001) instead of Entrepreneurial Skills (ENT3003)
New changes to the BSc. in Computing curriculum for 2014/15.
Year 1
Students will now do Discrete Math instead of Calculus 1.
(Calculus 1 will be done by the Computer Science major in Year 3.)
Students now have a choice in General Science of either:- Environmental Science
- Fitness and Wellness
- Material Science
Year 2
Students will do Web Programming instead of Web Software Tools
(FELS students will continue to do Web Software Tools)Year 3
Calculus 1 will be done by the Computer Science major.
Instead of Research Methods students will do Computing Research Methods.
This new module will now be taught/tutored by SCIT lecturers.Year 4
Instead of doing Capstone Research 1 and 2 students will again do Major Project.
Major Project will begin in Semester 1 but students will select the module in Semester 2.
A number of new electives are also proposed. These will be introduced as the syllabus are prepared.These includes:
