Mr. Henry Lewis, Jr. Lecturer, Faculty of Education and Liberal Studies, UTech, Jamaica led a session on “ Gang violence and national security in Jamaica: Implication for achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals”. He pointed out the incidence of gang violence and implications achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and highlighted that improvement in national security and conditions of peace in Jamaica is a critical element in the realization of the United Nations’ SDGs.
