The hall named in his mother’s honour, is the largest female hall of residence which accommodates 128 females. He was given a warm “Garvey” welcome by the ladies present and given a tour of the facilities by one of the Resident Managers, Ms. Stephanie Morris and Resident Assistant, Shantel Powell. Dr. Garvey gave a synopsis of his childhood with his parents, and a brief history about Marcus Garvey’s travel and work life.
