The Faculty admits students from a wide range of academic backgrounds to pursue specially designed programmes aimed at providing quality education at various levels in areas including Agricultural & Biological Engineering, Animation & Production Development, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computing, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Academic programmes emphasise flexibility of approach, work-based learning and professional linkages. Graduates of the faculty have been making significant contributions to the growth and development of Jamaica and other nations and serve in senior positions in industry in Jamaica, the region and across the globe. The Faculty of Engineering and Computing is also engaged in leading research and innovation in a number of areas relevant to industry and development.
